My playdoh sculpture is of a hockey player, but could be any other sports figure. Sports resonate a lot towards my teaching philosophy as it requires no previous experience, but does require a level of effort and practice to improve, which is where attempting/making mistakes is normal and must be shown that this is a normal part of the learning curve. As a 30 year coach of sports I have gotten used to making lasting and trusting relationships. Sports have also taught me how everyone is at their own personal level and must be taught from where they are at the time and because all people are different they might need to be taught using different styles to get similar results.
